Kayachikitsa emphasize a way of life which protects, optimises Antaragni, balances of doshas, enriches dhatus and ensure appropriate elemination of malas. The foundation of a healthy, happy & useful life included joyful, ethical & healthy sexual relations. Ayurved advocated the means & approaches to healthy sex. The cancer is nothing, but imbalance of tridosh, the causative factor may be in present & or past life, which can be known by the medical astrology. The Pulse diagnosis can help for proper treatment of the cancer.
Diabetic mellitus (MADHUMEH) and obesity (MEDOROG) are causative factors of many disease too. Detailed description of pathogenesis, prevention & management are used in Ayurved. There are definite leads of ayurvedic antidiabetic & anti obesity medicines.
: In Ayurved several drugs have been mentioned for the prevention of ageing process. These drugs have shown anti-oxident, anti-inflamatory properties and hence they are beneficial in reducing the degeneratic process.
Although ageing is a normal physiological process resulting in intrensic and extrensic damage to the various organ systems to the organism depending on each particular individuals genetic background and environmental factors, ageing of eye & ear, osteoporosis, dementia, impairment of biochemical homeostasis, autonomic dysfunction including increase in blood pressure, nutritional deficiencies etc. are the important changes which require a proper management among the elderly.
Cardiovascular diseases is the single most common cause of death in India. A number of risk factors have been recognized for the development of atherosclerosis including over weight, lack of physical activity, abnormal blood lipids, high blood pressure, diabetes & smoking etc. The progression of the atheroscelrotic process result in narrowing of the blood vessels and may lead to intravascular thrombosis.
Ayurved has developed the holistic view in the prevention & management of cardiovascular disorders. Various Ayurvedic medicines in classical Ayurved texts have shown beneficial role in the prevention and management of coronory hearth disease risk factors. Myself have submitted thesis on “Hritschul Mai Rasonggul ka Proyag with special reference to Angina Pectoris” guided by Prof. R.P. Swami, Director, N.I.A., Jaipur and co-guided by Prof. S.S. Haldia of S.M.S. Medical College, Jaipur. Prediction, diagnosis, prognosis and treatment also done on the basis of medical astrology too, if required.
The Alzhenimer’s and Parkinson’s disorders gradually occurs in old age. The neuro degenerative deficits are associated with impaired concentration, poor attention, over arousal, changes in behaviour, apprehensiveness and perceptual abnormalities. Ayurved has given a sound conceptual frame work related to ageing process.
Is a very important to diagnosis the nature of disease in a particular person on Ayurvedic fundamentals vis-a-vis tridosh theory is very beneficial for the treatment. Diagnosis in Ayurved is based on two folds :
1. Examination of the patient (Rogi pariksha)
2. Examination of the disease (Rog pariksha)
In ayurved a disease can easily be detected as early as possible on the basis of following steps :
Sanchaya : Cellular accumulations of lipids.
Prokapa : Cellular dysfunctions/adipokines.
Prasar : Circulatory distribution.
Sthan sanshraya : Target site localization.
Vyakti : Manifestation of disease.
Bheda : Complications.
The symptoms of skin diseases may vary. They may be temporary or permanent. If it is minor, then it is known as temporary otherwise it can be life- threatening and called permanent disorder.
It is a masses, clumps, cushions of tissue in the anal canal. It can be of various sizes. The common symptoms of piles are itchiness and pain while defecating.
This disease is related to the gastrointestinal tract. It includes the stomach, small intestine, large intestine, the accessory organs of digestion, the liver, gallbladder and pancreas. It symptoms of gastrointestinal disease or acid reflux, heartburn, indigestion, etc. This problem is due to bacteria in foods, infection and due to certain medications.
पंचकर्म एक संस्कृत शब्द है जिसका अर्थ है – पांच क्रियायें । पंचकर्म एक वियापक चिकिस्ता पद्दति है जो की शोधन प्रधान चिकित्सा होने के कारण यह शरीर के रोगो को जड़मूल से मिटाता है । पंचकर्म चिकित्सा पद्दति द्वारा उपचार के पश्चात रोग की पुनरावृत्ति की सम्भावना बहुत कम होती है इससे शरीर की जीवनीये क्षमता का संवर्धन होता है । इसके द्वारा वृद्धावस्था का नियंतरण होता है ।
स्नेहन:- स्नेहन दो प्रकार का होता है। (आंतरिक एवं बाह्म)
संवेदन:- शरीर में स्वेद उत्त्पन करने वाली प्रिक्रिया स्वेदन कहलाती है।
इसमें आवशयकतानुसार आग्नेय एवं अनाग्नेय विधियों का प्रयोग किया जाता है।
वामन:- शरीर के दूषित दोषों को मुख मार्ग द्वारा निकालना वमन किया जाता है इसका प्रयोग प्रधानतया कफ दोष वृद्धि मैं किया जाता है।
1. वमन:- यह एक दर्द रहित प्रक्रिया है जिसमें आयुर्वेदिक औषधि दे कर उलटी कराई जाती है।
वमन के अयोग्य रोगी:
2. विरेचन:- दोषो के गुदा मार्ग से बाहर निकालना विरेचन कहलाता। इसका प्रयोग प्रधानतया पित दोष वृद्धि में किया जाता है।

3. आस्थापन बस्ति:- इस चिकित्सा विधि में बस्ति यन्त्र द्वारा औषधियों का क्वाथ गुदा मार्ग से दिया जाता है। इसका प्रयोग वात रोगो में किया जाता है।
4. अनुवासन बस्ति:-इस विधि में औषध द्रव्यों से युक्त स्नेह (Oil) का प्रयोग किया जाता है।

बस्ती के अयोग्य रोगी:
5. नस्य: इस विधि में आयुर्वेदिव तैल या उनके चूर्ण को नासामार्ग में डाला जाता है। सम्पूर्ण उधर्वजत्रुगत विकार (Above Neck Region) में नस्य का प्रयोग प्रधानतः किया जाता हैं।
